Why work with Julian

Coaching that focuses on you and your journey.

Most cricket coaching focuses on a perfect technique. I don't believe there is one — so mine starts with you: how you think, how you behave, how you feel, how you do things — and we evolve a development plan around you.

Skills are part of the game. Mindset, game understanding and self-management are where we make the most of those skills.

“Technique is part of the game — not the game. The person is the key, and has to be the focus.” — My coaching philosophy, in one sentence.

A bit of context

The career behind the coaching.

Forty+ years in cricket means a lot of names, places and lessons. A lot of lessons — good and bad… all information to help myself and others.

When I started I just wanted to be part of the 100%. I still do. And that's the key. And that's where I aim to help you…
